Passport Office - Be aware

An incident to be shared :

                                     Went to passport office for a small name correction at 6am in the morning (because of a long queue) . office will be opened in few minutes and few people approached me saying that they can solve the problem in very less time (these people will be always roaming near the passport office) . I trusted them and followed. they said that I have to pay for the passport correction form and they will fill the form it seems in place of mine (as such I dont know to fill) and asked Rs:600 and asked y?.. they are asking this amount because they will call to the person inside the office and make the work simple is seems.

The Reality :  The forms are available for free in the passport office. all the things can be filled by you it self. no need to spend a penny until the person in the passport office tells you to pay. do not forget to take the bond paper which you have to submit for corrections in the passport (you can get this in the shops outside of passport office).
